One of the most common questions I get is, “Does permanent makeup hurt?”

Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, but I use professional numbing products during the PMU process to help keep you as comfortable as possible. 🤍

Numbing cream can help reduce the sensation during your appointment, but it doesn’t necessarily make the area completely numb. You may still feel some pressure, scratching, or mild discomfort — especially during certain parts of the procedure.

For the best results, please don’t apply your own numbing cream before your appointment unless I specifically instruct you to. Different products can affect the skin and how it takes pigment.
