🧚🏽 If you’re new here- nice to meet ya! I’m Josie, founder and owner of Chroma & Curl Beauty Lounge! I thought it was about time for an update to reintroduce myself🖤

🔮I started my “micro” salon a year ago when I started on my own as an independent stylist- with just one booth renter along for the ride (my hair bestie, Caylee!). The salon has become my home away from home, this business is my absolute baby(: I wanted to create a space for happy healthy curls and all texture types to feel at home with no judgement, but also create work/life balance for myself in an industry that thrives on hustle and burn out.

🔮My self care days and mental resets include finding some good food, stopping for an IV at with their amazing staff, thrifting around town… then always getting my nails done with my nail artist Snow ( on instagram).
📍She is currently appointment based at Heavenly Nails, and launching a food truck () with her off time too! Dm her for any nail booking inquiries, or to book her food truck for an event👀

🔮My first year of salon ownership has been so full of learning, changes and the ups and downs of life.. but the clients, stylists and business owners I’ve met so far truly inspire me to continue enjoying and growing in business.

I’ve been so busy on the business growth side of things I’ve been forgetting to post… the hair! But yall know me, I’m always getting my pictures 😍😤 From blondes to color, to cutting and styling- I’ve had such fun with clients the past few months!! Meeting new people, gaining connections to other small business owners in my chair or lending an ear or advice to my client-kiddos has my heart so full as of late.

It’s been a crazy few months preparing for our next phase of growth here at Chroma & Curl!

A photo dump of some of my behind the scenes lately, busy working moms get it. We move from one thing to the next with little transition time in between.. but this year has been packed with such amazing learning experiences- I’m just submitting to being along for the ride.

I can’t express how much this business means to me, how much every client in my chair fills my heart and just how crazy of an experience this has been so far. I’m so thrilled and filled with love at the reception our philosophy and culture has received, and so excited to grow even further.

With new hires coming on shortly, new services, more chairs and bigger dreams… I’m so excited, and hope you are too🥰🖤
