Heya fam. Just wanted to come in and touch base after last week. It was a nightmare week for a lot of your favorite food service industry spots. I know it was devastating for us, both in Lincoln and Omaha. The way Lincoln showed up when we were open was incredible!! Our Omaha store was only open 1.5 days last week. Payroll was 1/3 of what it normally was, and most of that went to Lincoln. It’s not just us. I’ve talked to many local business owners who were struggling because of it. The governor issued a state of emergency. It was a rough rough week.

So, if weather and wallets permit, please go visit your local favorite business this week. Love on em extra hard. Buy gift cards, share posts, go give 5⭐️ reviews. All of those things help tremendously.

Our Omaha location was seeing an amazing turnaround. Bills were getting caught up. Hours were increasing. And now it feels like we are right back where we were a few months ago.

Whether you are visiting us, our jerk friends at Block 16. Our pals at Izzys, Mission Ave, Orsi’s, Virtuoso, Yosh*tomo, Fizzys, Archetype, CTRL, Beer Cade, Mary Ellens, Heoya, The Coffee House, and so many others…..go show some extra love this week.
