Nine board members from across the state make up the Nebraska Soybean Board. Board members listen to reports of checkoff-funded research, marketing efforts, and promotional programs, and make future funding decisions. On a broader level, the soy checkoff helps facilitate market growth and create new markets for soybeans through marketing, research and commercialization programs. According to a 201

Another great year of Soybean Management Field Days is in the books! From North Platte to Central City, Crete and Mead, we enjoyed spending time in the field with Nebraska farmers, researchers and industry partners while sharing timely updates and practical production insights.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make each stop a success. We’re grateful for our partnership with Nebraska Extension and the opportunity to bring research and resources directly to growers across the state.

NSB directors and staff are in Chicago this week for Soy Connext, the U.S. Soybean Export Council - USSEC premier event connecting soybean buyers, farmers and industry leaders from around the world.
Beyond the general sessions, Anne, Wesley, Jason and Jason’s family met directly with soybean meal buyers from China and Vietnam to promote U.S. Soy, answer questions and strengthen relationships with key international customers.
Anne also led the Soy Excellence Center meeting as Chair of the Global Advisory Panel, where representatives shared updates from all six SEC regions and recognized top-performing participants from around the world.
Events like Soy Connext help put Nebraska soybean farmers face-to-face with the people purchasing and using U.S. Soy across the globe.

Last week, AGP celebrated the grand opening of its new export facility at Terminal 4 at the Port of Grays Harbor in Aberdeen, Washington!
The expanded facility will increase the port’s capacity to move U.S. soybean meal to growing markets across the Asia-Pacific region, opening new opportunities for demand and creating additional value for soybean farmers across the country.
Nebraska Soybean Board’s See for Yourself participants had the opportunity to see this investment firsthand and learn more about how Nebraska soybeans and soybean products make their way to customers around the world.
