Applications are now open for the Nebraska Soybean Board’s See for Yourself Program, a year-long opportunity to explore the soybean industry and see checkoff investments in action.

Selected participants will build industry knowledge and connections through in-person and online learning sessions, plus a national learning mission focused on the broader impact of U.S. soy. The program is open to Nebraska farmers and industry representatives interested in learning more and growing as leaders in agriculture.

Only six participants will be selected for the 2027 class, so don’t wait!

During National Farm Safety and Health Week, we’re highlighting the importance of preparation — both on the farm and in the communities ready to respond when an emergency happens.

Grain bin accidents can happen in seconds. Through a continued partnership with the Nebraska Corn Board, Nationwide, and the National Education Center for Agricultural Safety, Nebraska fire and rescue departments are receiving specialized grain rescue equipment and hands-on training to help protect farm families.

Prevention is always the first line of defense. When entry is necessary, proper procedures, communication and equipment can make all the difference.

National Farm Safety and Health Week is a reminder that taking the time to work safely today helps protect the people who keep agriculture moving tomorrow.

From Sept. 21–25, the National Education Center for Agricultural Safety is highlighting a different area of farm safety each day and offering free webinars throughout the week. Topics include equipment and rural roadway safety, health and wellness, generations of farming, confined spaces and cancer prevention.

With harvest underway, it’s a good time to review safety practices, stay alert and look out for everyone working on and around the farm.
