Mark your calendars! Summerfest is back on Saturday, August 29, 10am–2pm at LUX. Watch our steamroller printing demo turn a road roller into a giant printmaking press, shop a mini market with local vendors, catch a SkyCirque performance, grab lunch from food trucks, and get hands-on with art activities inside and outside the LUX building. It's FREE and open to everyone in Lincoln — Stay tuned as we share more details of what’s to come this Summerfest!

Date Night is back!!

Discover a fun new way to interact with a loved one, someone new to you, or a friend! Date Nights are interactive hands on workshops designed for two people to learn basic and simple massage techniques and how to apply them for the purpose of massage at home. Classes are taught by Licensed Massage Therapists in our newly remodeled basement space. Each couple will have their own table to use and all creams and oils and necessary products are supplied. Show up with your best attitude to learn and have a blast!

It's Relaxation Day! We might be a little biased but we can't think of anything more relaxing than a massage. While many of us really enjoy working on focused massages for specific pain, we offer many modalities that will make you feel very relaxed and pampered!

Thank you everyone who came out for our Art Walk! We had a great time painting, talking about muscles, and looking at (and buying!) lovely art.

Jenni was displaying peroneus (or fibularis) longus, Allie had both extensor and flexor longus, and Courteney had the sternocleidomastoid. These muscles are all ones that each therapist extensive knowledge of as well as a passion for working on!

Cupping is an ancient medicine practice that utilizes cups to create negative pressure in order to loosen up muscle tissue and create circulation. This is a great modality for muscle tightness, athletic recovery, and limited range of motion. Your therapist will use the cups in both stationary and dynamic ways to better move the tissue in the affected areas.

Did you know we do massage for minors? Massage can be very beneficial to older children and teens especially as we move into back to school season. A parent or guardian may need to stay at the studio with the child depending on the age of the child. Parental consent for treatment must be given prior to receiving treatment.

1 hour $95/1.5 hours $130 (when appropriate, not all children are able to withstand a 90 minute massage treatment)

**We also offer 30 minute sessions for children, but please call to schedule, as they are not offered via online booking. Please also call us if you have any questions!

We're excited to have another Art Walk event next Friday! We will have guest artists, a community art activity that will be featured permanently in the studio, and a live anatomy art demonstration!
