Last week, I taught my very first in-person technical class.

It’s funny—I’ve hosted retreats with 40+ attendees, yet for some reason, this made me a little nervous?!

About five years ago, I used to share a ton of YouTube content on color techniques, but over time, my focus shifted to business coaching. Stepping back into hands-on education was a reminder of just how much I LOVE this craft.

You forget what it feels like to be fresh out of cosmetology school—this class was for a couple of new stylists eager to learn, and it was so rewarding to share my skills with them.

I also got to support , who’s about to celebrate one year since opening - an idea that was grown, crafted, and executed closely within the Stylist Soul Tribe community.

Every so often, I have to pause and pinch myself.
