The name Pineapples and Palm Trees comes from my love everything tropical. What do you think of when you hear ‘pineapples and palm trees?’ Being on the beach, relaxing in the sun with a cocktail in your hand. The fresh smell of sea salt, children laughing and playing in the background, as the sea crashes in and rushes out - not a care in the world.
My folks moved to Hawaii nearly 20 years ago and with each visit there, as well as the Caribbean and Mexico, my love of all things tropical grew.
So after retiring from my ‘day job’ as a civilian in law enforcement, I joined direct sales. It was a refreshing change from government work. The perks were good, the tax write off’s were awesome and I was able to meet some amazing people, not only fellow consultants, but also customers.
I’ve been with a few different companies over the years and have learned a tremendous amount from each of them. I am now able to take all that training and use it for my boutique.
Since I was already a Consultant for Paparazzi jewelry, PoppyClips accessories and Mary Kay skin care and cosmetics, I decided to add Paisley Raye clothing, as it was a perfect fit and all together, these product lines were the fine makings for boutique... and Pineapples and Palm Trees was born.
