Merry Christmas to my girl, Jennifer Hill, who is celebrating her birthday and Christmas with a new row of 16” hand tied extensions! I’m currently booked through the remainder of this year, but I do have gift certificates available if you’re still looking for that perfect gift for your someone special!

Lots of clients come in asking for a balayage not knowing what it means. Balayage simply means “hand painted” in French! I love this look on clients that are craving a little more brightness, but still wanting low maintenance and that “lived in” look! This was ideal for my clients’ virgin hair and something that doesn’t require a root retouch in 6 weeks! Message me today for more info!

I’m open!! Thank you for your patience, I am still slowly making my way through the backlog and waitlist of patrons that I’ve had going for the last two months. It’s substantial and I’m allowing enough time for each client so that there is no overlapping. Bare with me!! In the meantime, please review the new guidelines for The Red Door Salon!! I am taking every precaution necessary to service each of you in a safe and healthy environment!! Your compliance is vital to aid in these efforts!!

Covid-19 safety guidelines and etiquette:

1. All guests should wait in their car and call when they have arrived for their service. Once the space has been disinfected and the previous guest has left, you will be notified to enter the salon. Please try to minimize the amount of personal belongings you bring in to the salon with you. There will be so much I need to do to disinfect & sanitize between each guest that this will help immensely in minimizing the surfaces I need to cover.
2. All guests should come alone. No children, spouses, or friends are allowed in the waiting area at this time.
3. Upon your arrival, you must wash and sanitize your hands. Sanitizer is available at the entrance! I will take your temperature with a non-contact thermometer. Any guest with a temperature over 99 will be asked to leave and return when you have been fever free for 48 hours. Likewise, if you have been in contact with someone that has had a fever over 99 within the last 14 days I ask that you reschedule for a later date. Please note that any gloves from outside of the salon will not be permitted inside the salon.
4. You will be required to wear a mask at all times during your service. It needs to hook behind the ears, not go around the head. You will need to supply your own! If you do not have one I have a limited supply of masks for purchase that my mother has made. They are $10. Be aware, that any mask worn from home may come into contact with hair color or styling products depending on your scheduled services. You might consider attaching Saran Wrap strips around the straps to protect your masks.
5. It is recommended by the CDC that patrons pay with cards instead of cash. I would prefer Venmo or PayPal at this time, as I have to use my phone for credit card purchases. I will still accept cash if you don’t have access to either app for payment.
6. Any color service that is willing to leave with their hair towel dried, please consider doing so. I hate to let you leave with wet hair; however, eliminating blow dryer use will help to reduce the spreading of germs.
7. I will not be performing wax services at this time. (Let’s stay out of each other’s faces!) 😜
8. Retail will be available to you upon request. Please notify me in advance of your appointment if you are needing product so that I can have it prepared, sanitized, & packaged for you.
9. There will be a small price increase on services due to the accrued costs in ensuring all of our safety!
