I’m Klarissa, the owner of Modern Looks & Wellness Spa.

What started as a dream has become a place that means so much more to me than hair, nails, skincare, or massage. I wanted to create a space where people could take a break from the chaos of everyday life and simply feel cared for.

One thing I poured my heart into while creating this salon was making sure it felt welcoming to everyone. No matter your age, body type, or where you are in your journey, you deserve to feel comfortable. You deserve to feel seen, respected, and to know that this space was created with you in mind.

I know booking a massage, or even walking into a new salon can feel intimidating. Maybe you’ve never had one before, maybe you’re nervous, or maybe you’ve spent years putting everyone else before yourself?

If that’s you, I want you to know you’re not alone.

That feeling is exactly why I created this space.

My goal has never been to simply offer services. I want every person who walks through our doors to feel welcomed, cared for, and leave feeling better than when they arrived… whether that’s because their shoulders finally relaxed, they fell in love with their hair again, or they simply had an hour that was just for them.

A little about me… My heart has always been in caring for others. Helping people feel like the best version of themselves is more than my job… it’s something that fills my soul. Whether it’s easing someone’s pain, helping them relax for the first time in weeks, or simply giving them a place where they feel accepted, those moments mean everything to me. Seeing someone leave smiling, standing a little taller, or hearing, “I really needed that,” is the greatest reminder that I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.
