Today was one of those afternoons that reminded me how much showing up for people matters. 🤍

Maid to Clean spent their client appreciation afternoon here at the studio — food, snacks, a little makeup for those who wanted it, headshots, lots of laughs and one pretty special team photo under “Maid to Clean • Since 2018” at the Joyo.

They’ve had a WEEK, and yet you could feel how much this group genuinely enjoys each other and how much Melanie Barnhill + JJ Barnhill appreciate the people who work alongside them. I loved getting to see that firsthand.

Carrah Elaine joined me again today for headshots, and I continue to love what we’re building together. Makeup & Photos by Twee is becoming so much more than just me behind a camera or holding a makeup brush. It’s a collaboration of professionals coming together to create an entire experience for the people who walk through our doors.

Today was a really good example of exactly what I hoped this studio could be. 🫶🏼

I finally tried Rhode Beauty for myself… and I have thoughts. 🤭

First impressions of the Glazing Milk, Glazing Mist, Peptide Lip products, Pocket Bronze + Pocket Blush — trying everything for the first time and sharing what I think as I go.

This started as a 25-minute GRWM 😂 but between Instagram limits and all of our attention spans, I condensed it down to less than 3 minutes.

So yes… makeup magically appears on my face between clips. 😂 I started completely bare-faced with the skincare, then did my foundation, concealer, brows, etc. in between so I could keep this focused on the Rhode products.

And spoiler: I REALLY liked a lot of it. 👀

I’ve known Clara since she was a little girl in kindergarten… and this weekend I had the honor of doing her wedding makeup. 🥹🤍

Watching the people you’ve known for years step into such a meaningful season of life never gets old. After spending the morning with Clara and her bridal party, Wayne and I returned that evening to celebrate as guests.

It made the day even sweeter getting to spend it with Hanna and Cole. 🤍

It was our first time at Bosona, and it did not disappoint. From the venue to the little details, you could tell how much thought Clara and Garrett put into every part of the day. It was such a beautiful celebration to be part of.
