$35,313---that's the Laps4Life total as it stands this morning!

Amazing! A huge thank you to everyone donor, big and small. May God bless each and everyone of you!

Unfortunately, we received this corporate sponsorship too late to give a shout out before our event, but we still want to say a big thank you to Carolina Pelleting & Extrusion, Inc. for being a bronze sponsor for this year's Laps4Life. Please help us thank them by sharing this post.

One last thing about today's Laps4Life: we forgot to draw for the Walmart gift cards. We remembered to buy and bring the gift cards, but forgot to do the drawings. So, we are going to go back thru all the teams and make sure we dont miss anyone, then we will put the names in a drawing on FB. That will probably not happen til Monday. We will be in touch with the winners and post on here.

(I'm so sorry; that is completely my fault. Please forgive me.---Paula McSwain, Exec Dir)

Laps4Life 2026 is in the books. 109 people attended in person, many more raised funds. The kids enjoyed all the games and prizes. The dessert auction yielded over $1400. The $10,000 match was met and as of right now, the total amount raised (including the match) was..........drum roll please: $35,108. Our monthly budget is around $12k. That is just about enough to finish us out for the year. So thank you to everyone who worked so hard and sacrificed so much to make this year's fundraiser such a huge success. If you could hear the stories I hear from clients and the change affected, you would understand so much better the impact of your gifts. All glory to God!

We are up and running (well, walking), and ready for you to join us. Come on out--we're having a great time for a great cause! Many testimonies today of how God has used this ministry to touch their own families, and even some personally. Thank you, donors, for all you do!

Two more cakes that will be at the auction at noon today at Covenant Church. Homemade by Sha Parsons .

Alright everybody--today's the day! Chances are that all your outdoor plans are cancelled, so you can join us now. 'Cause rain or shine, we'll be walking indoors at Covenant Church to help the moms and babies of our community. We start at 9:30am and go until 12:30pm. There are games and prizes for the kids. We will be serving chicken salad croissants and loaded nachos as a way to thank all our donors. Donations will be accepted but not required. Then at 12noon, we will have our dessert auction, which is always alot of fun and full of yummy homemade treats. Please come on out and join us--we are expecting you!

Tomorrow is the big day at Covenant Church from 9:30am-12:30pm, with cake auction at 12noon.

Our CPC office at 112 Doctors Park will be open from 10am-4pm today for teams to turn in their money and pick up their shirts, if they haven't already. (And if you come during that time and dont see anyone, I may be running in and out loading the van at the side door--just call the cell line 980-429-5384 and I'll come let you in)
