The Wild Heart Way — Part 3

One thing I see over and over as an esthetician:

Women trying to fix their skin
when their bodies are actually asking for something else.

More rest.
Less stress.
A slower pace.
Support for their nervous system.

Your skin is incredibly intelligent.

It reflects what’s happening inside your body and your life.

So sometimes the most effective skincare isn’t another product or treatment.

Sometimes it’s breathing deeper.
Sleeping more.
Eating real food.
Taking a walk outside.

Supporting your skin often starts with supporting yourself.

That’s skincare the Wild Heart way.

Have you ever noticed your skin change during stressful seasons of life?

Next in the series:
Why chasing “younger” disconnects us from our skin.

The Wild Heart Way — Part 2

I took this photo last summer, I was scrolling through my photos and had a moment about this one.

There’s a quiet message women absorb over time:

That our faces should stay the same.

Fewer lines.
Less texture.
Less evidence of time passing.

But our faces were never meant to stay frozen.

They reflect laughter.
Stress.
Motherhood.
Loss.
Growth.
A life being lived.

As a holistic esthetician, I care deeply about healthy skin.

But healthy skin isn’t about erasing the story written on your face.

It’s about supporting your skin, calming your nervous system, and helping you feel at home in yourself.

That’s skincare the Wild Heart way.

What’s something about aging that you see differently now than you used to?

The Wild Heart Way — 01

Somewhere along the way, natural beauty became another performance.

The right lighting.
The right routine.
The right kind of “effortless.”

But real natural beauty isn’t something you perform for other people.

It’s the quiet confidence of feeling at home in your own skin.

The lines that show you’ve laughed.
The softness that comes with time.
A face that actually belongs to your life.

My work as an esthetician isn’t about chasing a different face.

It’s about supporting healthy skin, calming the nervous system, and helping women reconnect with themselves when they look in the mirror.

That’s skincare the Wild Heart way.

Part 1 of a new series I’m starting.

I think a lot of women are quietly feeling this shift. Are you noticing it too?

Be the good you wish to see…

01/26/2026

I’ve been quiet here for the sake of my business.
But there comes a point when silence stops being neutral and starts being a betrayal of who you are.

I am a mother to three daughters with brown skin.
My youngest is Latina.
I worry about her safety in ways I never should have to.

I believe no human being is illegal.
I stand with the LGBTQ+ community—my family is part of it.
I love my country and I believe our current government is causing real harm.

This is not a political space, and I won’t be using it as one.
But I need to be honest about what I stand for morally.

If this means losing followers or clients, so be it.
My daughters deserve to know I didn’t stay silent.
The people I love deserve to know I showed up.

You get to choose if I’m for you.
I need to choose to be for myself—and for them.

❄️ ❄️ ❄️

During the colder months your body, the incredible machine it is, will take from other systems that aren’t as important and use that energy to keep you warm. Your skin is one of those systems. That’s why eating warm + nutritious foods during the colder months can help keep your skin healthy.

Whole Foods. Warm meals. Herbal tea. Enough water. Not perfection—just intentional caring for yourself. Your skin will thank you for supporting your body.

Tension shows up on the skin as inflammation, sensitivity, breakouts, and dullness.

Take time to breathe, go for a walk, do something you love to do, create…calming your nervous system is skincare.

✨ This is skincare, the Wild Heart way.

Back-to-routine doesn’t equal back-to-burnout.

Tonight, choose rest—early to bed, fewer screens, start a bed time routine that brings you to the right place for a good night of sleep.

✨Wild Heart skincare begins with rest.
