What is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a pen that has 12 very fine needles that vibrate up and down into the epidermis/dermis creating microscopic, controlled wounds in your skin. The micro “injuries” stimulate the skin’s self repair mechanism which triggers a collagen production wound healing response. The pen is basically telling your collagen in your skin cells (fibroblasts) to wake up and start doing its job! I’m excited to share that I have started a new chapter towards my DREAM career✨ Monday I began attending Acaydia School of Aesthetics to get my Master-Medical Aesthetic license. After graduating high school almost 10 years ago I shared interest in both esthetics and the medical field. I ended up in the medical field for about 7 of the last 10 years. 3 years ago I took a Microblading course and my passion for the esthetic field rekindled. I love, love, LOVE IT!!! Microblading has always been a side business with the goal to transition to full time one day. The esthetic industry challenges me to be the best and truest version of myself. I can truly say this is where I belong. I feel like I’m making a difference more than I ever have. This transition hasn’t been easy, change can be scary! It took a huge leap of faith and sacrifice and it would not have been possible without a support system of loved ones who believe in me, have cheered me on, and even pushed me (you know who you all are❤️). Especially my awesome husband, he’s really made this dream become a reality with his love and security! This field is fun, and maybe even a little basic 😉 but I truly am so passionate about what I have to offer to this industry. There is something empowering about working with women to help promote self care and self confidence in any way possible. I know we hear it all the time but it couldn’t be more true that life is way too short to not follow your dreams and do what you love and what makes your soul happy!
