NJ HAIR EXTENSIONS | BLONDING
AI could never.
Thereās something incredibly special about anything created with human hands and shaped by a human mind. I never thought weād live in a time where that would feel so rare, but here we are.
Hereās to craftsmanship, creativity, and the beauty of work made by people.
I flew all the way to New Jersey to learn a completely custom, handcrafted approach to K-tip extensions.
If you know me, you know Iām obsessed with the details. Iāve wanted to offer K-tips for a long time, but the traditional methods never felt aligned with the level of customization I strive for in my work.
Then I found NJ HAIR EXTENSIONS | BLONDING
Every extension is handcrafted with intention using raw, virgin, unprocessed hair sourced from Russiaāconsidered some of the highest quality hair available. Her technique is incredibly meticulous, lightweight, and designed to prioritize the health of your scalp and natural hair.
I immediately knew this was the method I wanted to bring back to Utah.
Iām so excited to # add this luxury K-tip method to my service menu. This is one of the most custom extension experiences Iāll offer, and I canāt wait to share it with you.
Iāll be looking for a few models soon, so keep an eye out if youāre interested. š¤

Extensions are literally physics
A healthy install isnāt just about adding hair, itās about understanding tension, force distribution, balance, and structural support across the scalp.
Every section of natural hair has a load limit. Every bead placement changes how weight and tension are distributed. Every row has to be strategically placed around the clientās density, head shape, growth pattern, and natural movement so the scalp isnāt carrying unnecessary stress.
Too much weight in the wrong area creates pressure points, breakage, slipping, inflammation, and long-term damage.
Thatās why two installs can use the exact same hair and look completely different in comfort, longevity, blend, and scalp health.
Clean and healthy installs arenāt accidental. Itās physics š«¶š¼

This client came in showing me photos of platinum blonde hair on a natural level 7, and part of my job as the stylist was being honest with her from the start: no matter how much bleach we used, her hair was never going to look like those inspiration photos in one appointment because her starting point was completely different.
What you couldnāt fully see in her before photo was the amount of banding, overlapping bleach, and breakage throughout her hair. I told her point blank that I was not going to push her blonder that day because her hair simply could not handle it. Instead, I pulled out inspiration photos that were actually realistic for her first session with me.
My main goal was to create consistency throughout her hair. I knew I needed to add lowlights to break up the banding and harsh lines of demarcation while still keeping her bright around the face so she didnāt feel like I just ātook her dark.ā We did a lived-in bronde transformation, a healthy cut, and treatments to start rebuilding the integrity of her hair.
The biggest thing? Sometimes as the professional, you have to say no first so you can say yes later.
When she came back four months later, her grow-out looked BEAUTIFUL. No harsh lines, less breakage, healthier hair, and noticeable growth because we stopped aggressively overlapping bleach. Even in her second after photo, it looks like I lightened her way more than I actually did. The difference was intentional placement.
I focused brightness around her part line and face frame while still leaving dimension throughout the rest of her hair to protect the integrity of it. Thatās the secret with darker hair: you do not need to blast the entire head with bleach to create brightness.
I think a lot of stylists struggle with lifting darker hair because they over-bleach instead of foiling with intention. Placement, contrast, and dimension will always make hair look brighter, healthier, and more expensive than overprocessing ever will. āØ

I genuinely have so much hair content on my phone that Iām overwhelmed. Itās gotten to the point where I havenāt even been posting because the decision fatigue of figuring out what to post and in what order makes me mentally veto posting altogether š
This bronde, however, sent me š« š« galley is wearing two rows of extensions, and we do a dimensional partial foil while leaving some of her natural regrowth to create natural highs and lows in her color.
