I have had zero pain since day two after surgery and have had a stress ball in my hand pretty much all the time working on my strength.

I start PT on Monday and at that point I will get a better idea when I can get back to work.

Thank you to everyone first and foremost for the prayers! Thank you for the chats, texts, meals, gifts and advice! Thank you to my amazing hubby Rich for being such a good nurse, I don’t think you expected this just after retiring from Ramsey County Sheriffs! 😆 Also all my hairdresser friends for stepping up and offering to take on my guests for the next month! When this happened it was the same day as the evil shooting at Assumption. I’ve been using this time to give all my pain to God for the souls and families that have been affected! So please have no pity for my minor accident. Using this and giving all glory to God to use this for good. One of my sons texted me last night and suggested to use this pain, so that’s what I am planning on doing! 2 Corinthians 4:8-9, 12, 15 We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; [9] persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; [12] So death is at work in us, but life in you. . . . [15] For it is all for your sake, . . . I am anxious to start recovery but for now just moving my fingers and praying 🙏🙏 On the way home we stopped and got one of my favorite smoothies, Bubble tea! Yummmmm

The day almost got by and just realized it’s my 5th anniversary since I opened my in home studio, Salon Alma! Time flies when you love what you do!
