From the moment I learned about Simply Slayed and reached out to Kayleigh, the owner, I was met with immediate warmth, compassion, and professionalism. I explained the issue I was having with my hair and sent her photos. Rather than making assumptions, she asked me to come into the salon so she could assess my hair in person — no consultation fee, just genuine care and professionalism.

Kayleigh scheduled my appointment and gave me specific shampoo instructions to follow beforehand. She was also very clear about expectations from the beginning. She explained that achieving my ultimate hair goal could take 2–4 sessions because maintaining the integrity and health of my hair was the priority. I truly appreciated and respected that honesty.

On the day of my appointment, she was pleasantly surprised by how much of the unwanted color I had managed to remove on my own. She tested the lightening process, it was successful, and the results exceeded my expectations. The way she blended the colors was absolutely gorgeous. My hair looks beautiful, dimensional, and intentional.

The salon itself is peaceful and welcoming, which seems to be a direct reflection of Kayleigh’s personality as a salon owner. It also became very clear why her calendar stays booked. During my appointment, I heard her explain to two potential clients that she was already booked until the following month. I completely understand why, and I booked for the following month before I left the salon.

I think I have officially found my new permanent stylist and colorist. I am extremely happy with my experience and even happier with my hair."
