Get to know Marie!

Marie has completed programs specific to treating pain conditions, and has a great interest in working with autoimmune disorders and individuals who are experiencing dysfunction skeletally and muscularly. The goal of her massage is to change the way a person feels about the condition or circumstance they are dealing with. She accomplishes this by showing clients a plan to improve their mobility and function as well as an action plan for their personal improvement.
Marie completed massage therapy school in 2017 at American Massage and Bodywork Institute, in Vienna, VA. Following that she completed a specialized program, “Clinical Approach to Pain,” in Herndon, VA.
She believes every person has the opportunity to improve their physiological functioning but not everyone has the tools to do it. By creating a plan for each individual, including manageable, targeted stretching, she gives her clients ways to prevent and alleviate injury and/or tension in their every day life.
Trained to examine spinal imbalance and hip displacement, Marie incorporates into her massage the ability to remedy the tension that is causing the bones to be held in a way that compromises the body.
