"Let me tell you why I am endorsing Summer Campbell. Summer is a committed, passionate person and one of the best cheerleaders 📣 you will find. Summer is a small business owner, who loves her community and is passionate about improving it. Summer is that “ride or die” friend who supported me through my 2018 campaign but also would tell me, if I was going about an issue in the wrong direction. Summer was my campaign manager but became my friend. I am so proud of the work Summer has done in the community and I know that she will make a great Justice of the Peace. She’s worked so hard for progressive candidates and causes here in Pulaski County, and now it’s her time to serve the public. Please vote Summer Campbell for Justice of the Peace, District 2. Go Summer Go!"

It is official! I will be on the ballot running for Justice of the Peace District 2!
This has been a dream of mine since the 9th grade. I have called Pulaski County home for 27 years, and I am ready to step up and serve. Our families and our communities deserve leadership that makes a difference and delivers for our county. As former Vice Chair of the Pulaski County Democrats and my training with the Victory Institute, I feel that I have the qualifications and support to represent District 2.
Today is the beginning of my OWN campaign! I am so excited to talk to everyone in District 2. Let’s get to work!!

Here’s to a week full of people - community is what it’s all about, right?
I’ve been trying to make a post since Thursday. I can’t seem to come up with the words to show just how grateful I am for all the familiar faces I saw. We raised $1016 dollars for . That number might not sound like a lot to some but it makes me beam with pride. That’s a lot of 35 dollar bingo cards! Raising money is HARD y’all and it’s always scary not knowing if people will come but every dang time YALL 👏🏼 SHOW 👏🏼 UP 👏🏼! It means the world to me, thank you!!!

🌎Each of us need to do our own part to take care of the only planet we have.🌎
At BLOOM SALON we take great care and pride to do our part. From your hair to the materials we use in it and more, we recycle 95% of what comes into the shop. Some day this will be the norm not the exception.
Did you know that the beauty industry creates over 877 pounds of waste every single minute? EVERY. SINGLE. MINUTE. Holy cow, that’s a lot!
At BLOOM we’ve made our planets health a top priority and we are pretty dang proud of it. We recycle 95% of everything that comes through our doors. Those foils that were in your hair? Sorted, melted and repurposed into car/bike parts. The trim you got? The hair will be made into products to be used for humanitarian efforts. The shipping boxes, the hair color, the gloves, wax strips and everything in between is all sorted downstairs of the salon by us. It’s hard work but we think our planet is worth the extra efforts 🌎 ♻️ 🌱!

As a hairstylist, I can’t tell you how good it is to be recognized by your fellow hairstylist. This is one of the reasons I love working at BLOOM SALON. We truly are a team that support each other. We celebrate when one of us achieve a goal and we take time to support each other in the hard times. This is what Women supporting Women looks like, this is what a salon that gives back to it’s community looks like, this is where we set an example. So thankful to work with my girls at Bloom. It’s fine, everything’s fine, I’m fine!
We want to congratulate our very own for being named in the class of # # for Leadership Greater Little Rock! We are so proud and can’t wait to see what all she does to better our city. Thank you for the work you put in day in, day out!

The Bloom girls are at it again. A lot of thought goes into the non-profits we choose to raise money for but our choice for October might be the most important thus far. Mental health. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The American Foundation for Su***de Prevention is where we landed. When we chose this, our group conversation led to us opening up about our own very real struggles with mental health. The amount of support and trust we all have in each other makes me feel like we can do anything and make real change happen right here in our community. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We will be participating in the Out of the Darkness walk on November 7th and we hope you will join our team! We set a goal of $1000, you can donate with the link in our bio! If you want to walk with us please let us know! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you struggle with mental health, I want you to know you are enough. Please reach out. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
