From high school study halls to a respected name in the hair industry, Zandriaāalso known as the Braid Surgeonāturned a natural gift for braiding into a lifelong craft. With 20+ years of braiding experience and 13 years in business, she is not your typical braiderāshe is a designer with a futuristic mindset and a deep commitment to healthy hair care. A 2009 barber school graduate and licensed instructor since 2014, Zandria opened her first salon in 2012, expanded to multiple locations, and after years of growth and leadership, intentionally closed her salon in 2024. In 2026, she reemerged with purpose under her evolved brand, The Kinkz Medic. Having traveled and serviced clients across several states and participated in multiple hair shows, her mission today is to give back through education, real-life experience, and integrityāpreserving what it truly means to have a stylist you can trust. Now working in a private, sacred environment for herself and her loyal long-term clients, Zandria takes pride in every detail of her work. As The Kinkz Medic continues to grow, I want my clients to understand that my schedule is intentional. I service clients on weekends only, review appointment requests during my weekly book review process, and finalize availability based on recurring clients, cancellations, waitlist openings, and the time I have available.
This helps me stay organized, protect my time, and continue giving every client the care and attention their crown deserves. š
Please plan ahead, be patient with response times, and understand that once the books are closed, they will reopen during the next review period.
