PLEASE WAIT 30 DAYS POST COVID VACCINE

Due to the newness and unknowns surrounding these Covid "vaccines", I am requesting that you wait 30 days post the second dose to be seen for wax, tinting, and lash lift appointments. These services are direct contact with the skin.

There have been a concerning amount of reactions to the vaccines, and additionally, reports are surfacing within the beauty industry of clients having reactions to all sorts of beauty treatments after having received the vaccine.

While they may not have had a reaction to the vaccine itself, it does cause an inflammatory reaction in the body when it stimulates the immune system. Many people are living with chronic inflammation, often unbeknownst to them. Most of the beauty treatments in practice cause some level of inflammation, from a burning scalp from chemical hair colors, to chemical peels burning off layers of skin on the face, to the burning of the skin in electrolysis, or the inflammation associated with ripping hair out of the body during waxing or sugaring.

There have been reports of clients' scalps turning odd colors during hair coloring, burning from routine skincare treatments, and there has even been a report of a tattoo bubbling up after receiving the vaccine. Consider that tattoos create a lifetime of low grade chronic inflammation in the skin, couple that with a poor diet and lifestyle creating inflammatory conditions, and add in an inflammatory vaccine, and it's not a stretch to imagine each unique individual having their own unique reaction.

To be safe for both you and me, I feel like this information is enough for me to want you to wait a month after your last vaccine to make sure you don't have any reaction from the vaccine and that you have had time for any internal inflammation as a result of it to calm down. Its much better to be safe than sorry.
