Hello! I am now offering LED facials! Treatment time is 80 to 90 minutes with 20 minutes of that time being under the LED lamp, the rest of the treatment is the same as my custom facial geared towards treating your skin concerns while providing you deep relaxation.
LED light therapy is a non invasive, zero down time proven treatment that has been used in the medical field for years to speed up wound healing. Think of it as a gym work out for your skin cells, they absorb energy from the light to work more efficiently. Red light builds collagen in the skin and therefore can smooth out fine lines/wrinkles, and post acne scarring. Blue Light can help to regulate oil production in the skin as well as kill off acne causing bacteria. And Yellow light can reduce redness and inflammation in the skin.
If you are interested in booking a relaxing and results driven LED facial treatment send me a message! Treatment cost is $125 (extra bonus I do a hand treatment with electric warming mitts while you are under the LED).

A very special client today (my almost 5 year old) for a little cleansing, soothing mask, and some oh so important sunscreen. She had a little red rash where her skin was irritated from a baby wipe this morning and my Hale & Hush sensitive skin products helped soothe and take most of the red irritation away ❤️

As we are right in the middle of Summer it is a good time to talk Sunscreens. I have seen a lot of debate and misinformation spreading around about the safety of Sunscreens, how they are laden with dangerous cancer causing chemicals, and how there are "natural" alternatives such as oils that provide sun protection.
This idea in general that skincare that isn't deemed "clean" or "natural" must be loaded with "chemicals" that are unsafe needs to stop. A lot of this started with the EWG website where ingredients are given a "safety" rating, it is fear mongering. Majority of their claims have been debunked and are very flawed. Some of the studies they have based their information on used insanely unnaturally high amounts of said ingredients injected into lab rats. Such high amounts that no human or animal would ever be in contact with, let alone injected with. Too much of most things, including water, can be bad for anyone or anything.
Recently Valisure tested over 200 different Sunscreens AND After Sun Care products and found a large batch of them had been contaminated with Benzene, a known carcinogen. This sent people in an uproar thinking they have finally been proven right that sunscreen "causes cancer" and is terrible for us. False. Note that I said Sunscreen AND After Sun Care products. Benzene is not an ingredient that is ever formulated in any kind of sunscreen, after sun care, or any other skincare product. The Benzene contamination happened during the manufacturing process, and as a result many of the companies who had batches that were contaminated are recalling those batches.
Sunscreen does not cause cancer... The Sun causes cancer, not to mention premature aging of the skin and hyperpigmentation. I can not express this enough.
This link below just goes to show you how effective Sunscreen really is, any kind of tan on the skin is damage to the skin. Many people have claimed oils are a natural form of SPF, what they contain is no where near enough to block the suns harmful rays. Just look at the difference here and please put your sunscreen on!

Dr. Shereene Idriss is cosmetic dermatologist in NY, she does a great job explaining how SPF works and why we need it in this video. She also has a video explaining the Valisure lab testing and the Benzene contamination.

Raspberry Seed Oil - Sunscreen or not? Raspberry seed oil is praised as a natural alternative to sunscreen. Is there any truth behind these claims? Does Raspberry seed oil have any inherent SPF? We have tested.

This is a really amazing skincare deal from TrendMood (and yes it is very legit!). First Aid Beauty skincare products are great, they have nice formulations for really nourishing and protecting the skin and are all fragrance free. I often recommend the ultra repair cream to my clients who are dry or have a compromised skin barrier. I had actually been looking at buying their Ultra Repair Collagen cream for myself but so glad I caught this deal first. Highly recommended!

As everyone probably knows, here in California Salons and Spa's were hit hard with the Covid19 lockdowns and restrictions. Many had to shut their doors permanently. Thankfully Heavenly Treatment has managed to get through it and we are now back to being open for appointments!
With that in mind I wanted to put out a friendly reminder, especially with the given times. If you book an appointment for a service anywhere that you are unable to make it to, please please remember to call and let the business know as far in advance as possible. Businesses need all of the help they can get right now, especially these small privately owned businesses, and that time slot could mean someone else can book in. And because of the times we are in, you might be the only client that person had booked in for the day. Things in life come up and we completely understand that, so lets stick together and work together to keep our small businesses going.
I hope that everyone is doing well and staying healthy!
Coronavirus update: Unfortunately due to the "Shelter in Place" order issued in the bay area counties, the Spa has had to close up until April 7th. I've had to cancel all clients, hopefully the order is lifted sooner or at the very least not extended. Stay safe!
Note regarding the Coronavirus - I will continue to take clients during this time. Rest assured that we always take cleanliness and sanitation very seriously. I have always sanitized implements and surfaces between each client and will be taking extra steps to ensure the safety of all.

I recently purchased this Neutrogena Hydro Boost Foundation from Target during a hunt to find a more natural looking light to medium coverage foundation that didn't settle into my fine lines or enhance any dry or dehydrated skin texture. I have to say I am absolutely in love with it. If you have dry/dehydrated skin or more "mature" skin I highly recommend giving this one a try. It contains Hyaluronic Acid which binds water to the skin for a more plump/hydrated appearance and feel. Being we live in a drier climate here in California I see dehydration in even those with more oily skin types such as myself. Hyaluronic Acid is great for combating that as well as plumping the skin to fill in those fine lines and wrinkles.
Starting March 1st my available days and times are as follows.
Monday 4:30pm to 8:30pm
Wednesday 4:30pm to 8:30pm
Saturday 9:30am to 2pm
