I’m so excited to announce that a new elevated aesthetics studio is coming to Livingston this fall! Located on our historic square, this little room holds so many dreams, prayers, and lots of courage… and is now becoming the new home of Glamour By Grace!

To my clients waiting and eager to schedule with me: my official business name & booking site will be announced soon. I’m finalizing details and checking off all the necessary bureaucratic boxes that come with stepping into entrepreneurship.

For now, I will be logging out again for a bit. Planning to give birth in 4 days + starting your own small business is an exciting kind of overwhelming, to say the least🫶🏼

Hi friends. Unfortunately, I’ll be starting my maternity leave a little earlier than planned.

This isn’t exactly how I pictured stepping away, and it’s been emotional having to close this chapter sooner than expected (thanks, hormones!). But right now, my focus has to be on keeping myself and baby girl healthy. Despite the sadness, I am excited soak in these last couple of weeks as we prepare to meet our little one.

To all of my clients: if you haven’t heard from me already, a member of Stonehouse Day Spa will reach out to you directly to either cancel or reschedule your appointment with another service provider. Thank you so much for your patience. You’ve made this journey so special, and I’m so sorry for any disappointment caused by this cancellation.

Reminder- due to its closing, I will not be returning to Stonehouse Day Spa after my maternity leave. I am finalizing the details on my new location now, and I will be sharing it with you all SOON! Turn on my post notifications & stay tuned… I promise you won’t want to miss this announcement.

Some happy news: since I can’t be present in the treatment room, I will be offering virtual consultations and regimen building! This $25 online appointment will include a face-to-face consult & deep dive into your current skin concerns, followed with a personalized skincare routine for at home use. Since I’m unable to work with you in person, I hope this will keep your skin’s progress advancing until your next facial.

If you’ve read this far, thank you. While this goodbye came sooner than I was ready for, I know this season is temporary and so incredibly precious. I can’t wait to be back with you all when the time is right. Until then, thank you for giving me the grace to take care of what matters most - no pun intended. Hi friends! I wanted to keep you all in the loop… due to some surprises with my pregnancy, I’ll be taking things a bit slower at work right now.
Appointments may look a little different with limited movement and possible delays between clients. I’ll also need to be more mindful of my schedule, so short notice changes may be harder to accommodate, & I will no longer be booking outside of our posted working hours to squeeze in last minute appointments.
I appreciate your patience more than you know and feel so lucky to have such supportive clients during this time. Keeping this sweet girl cooking til full term is our goal, and keeping me healthy by reducing my work load is the way to get her there!

As far as my maternity leave goes- my last day at work will be Saturday, August 8th. I will return on Wednesday, November 4th.
I have VERY FEW spots left for this summer. I can’t stress enough how important it is to book now if you want in before I go on my break! Please text me, call the spa, or click the link in my bio to get on my schedule.
For those of you I don’t see regularly and may not already know- once I return, I will only be available Wednesdays and Fridays from 9AM-5PM.
Hopefully, I will eventually be back every other Saturday to accommodate more clients. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this causes and understand that my limited availability will keep my client list smaller and more compact. I sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as I prepare for an extended maternity leave and a schedule that allows me to be home with my girl five days a week.

For everyone & their mother who is pregnant right now (including me) that DIDN’T get the pregnancy glow, but instead, so lovingly received the ✨baby breakouts✨

🔬BREAKDOWN:
1. Lactic Acid (under 10%)- a gentle Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) used in skincare to exfoliate the surface of the skin, remove dead skin cells, improve texture, and boost hydration. Known for being milder than other AHAs due to its larger molecular size, it is ideal for sensitive/dry skin types looking for a brighter, smoother complexion.
2. Glycolic Acid (under 10%) - a highly effective AHA that works as a chemical exfoliant to dissolve the “glue” holding dead skin cells to the surface. Because it has the smallest molecular weight of all AHAs, it pe*****tes deeper and faster into the skin, making it excellent for treating acne, reducing hyperpigmentation, and improving texture.
3. Salicylic Acid (under 2%) - a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) recognized for its ability to pe*****te deep into the pore to dissolve sebum (oil) and dead skin cells, making it perfect for treating acne, blackheads, and oily skin. It is a lipophilic (oil-soluble) exfoliant, which allows it to work inside the pore lining, unlike AHAs, which work primarily on the surface.
4. Benzoyl Peroxide - an antiseptic that kills acne-causing bacteria deep in the pores, while simultaneously treating inflammatory acne, like pimples, pustules, and red bumps. When used as part of a consistent acne routine, BP can help visibly clear acne and help prevent new acne breakouts from forming. It helps promote the shedding of dead skin cells that can lead to clogged pores. It’s suitable for both face & body acne.
5. Azelaic Acid - a gentle & versatile ingredient known to treat acne, rosacea, hyperpigmentation, and sensitive skin, without the harsh irritation often caused by retinoids or other acids. It’s also a tyrosinase inhibitor, meaning it stops the enzyme responsible for melanin production, helping to fade post-acne discoloration, sun spots, and melasma.
