Something that was very important to bride Shaina while she planned her Pithi ceremony. She wanted to incorporate pieces of clothing from the three strongest women in her life.
Her grandmother, her mother and her sister, always close to her heart.
Dhoti Sari: Purple silk sari draped as a Dhoti is the sari Shaina’s grandmother wore to her engagement in 1962.

Green vest: This beautiful silk vest was Shaina’s mother’s when she was a teenager.
Black silk tube top: This was a piece incorporated from her sister’s wedding celebration in Jamsica.
