A Silent Feather Healing Massage

Great horned owl dad began to stretch after sunset, took off, and prepared to hunt. No flash or artificial light sources were used by me; No interference. #greathornedowl #owl #owlvideo #cuteowl #owllover #sonyzve1 #sony300mm #sony300mmf28 #sonyphotography #wildlife #birdphotography #birding #birdwatchers #birdwatching #cuteanimal #cutevideos #funnyvideos #intothewildlifephotogroup #natgeoyourshotbotw2026

A barred owl taking a bath. In a creek. After hunting frogs in the water. • Yes, that actually happened. • This is a slightly revised version of the video. I re-edited it to make the story easier to follow. Some people were confused by the different angles, so just to clarify: The first part was filmed with a stationary trail camera I had set up to watch the creek. The later shots were captured when I came back with my handheld camera and telephoto lens. I’ve added this context to the video now, and I apologize if the earlier version left you wondering. • I felt the need to return because what I saw was simply too special, a barred owl fishing for frogs, then taking a full, relaxed bath in the middle of the forest. • It’s still one of the wildest, most beautiful moments I’ve witnessed. A reminder that even the smallest hidden creeks hold scenes of quiet wonder. • Let’s protect them. • Barred owl (taking a bath) Québec, Canada . . . . #BarredOwl #OwlBath #OwlFishing #owl #wildlifephotography #naturelovers #WildlifeConservation #cangeo #natgeoanimal #natgeoyourshot #explorecanada #ForestBiodiversity #ChouetteRayée #ProtectNature #TrailCam #HiddenNature #PreserveForests #quebec
