Detailed healing process after a PMU procedure ⬇️

1️⃣ Initial Healing (Days 1-7):
• Immediately after the procedure, the treated area may appear darker, swollen, and slightly tender.
• Mild redness and inflammation are common during this stage.
• The pigment may initially appear darker than the desired shade, but it will lighten as the skin heals.
• It’s crucial to keep the treated area clean and avoid any activities that may cause excessive sweating or irritation.

2️⃣ Scabbing and Peeling (Days 7-14):
• Around the end of the first week or the beginning of the second week, scabbing may occur as the skin begins to heal.
• It’s essential not to pick, scratch, or peel the scabs, as this can lead to pigment loss and scarring.
• As the scabs naturally slough off, the pigment underneath may appear patchy or uneven. This is normal and will improve as the skin continues to heal.

3️⃣ Color Softening and Settling (Weeks 2-6):
• Over the next few weeks, the color of the pigment will soften and settle into the skin.
• Any patchiness or unevenness in the color should diminish as the skin fully heals and the pigment integrates with the surrounding tissue.
• It’s common for the color to appear lighter than desired during this stage, but it will gradually darken over time

4️⃣ Final Results (Weeks 6-8):
• By week 6-8, the skin should have fully healed, and the final results of the PMU procedure should be visible.
• The color should have stabilized, and any initial swelling or redness should have subsided.
• Touch-up sessions may be scheduled at this stage to address any areas where the pigment may have faded or to make adjustments to the shape or color as needed
