Sometimes what I notice isn’t something I should be treating.
One of the most important things I’ve learned throughout my career is knowing the difference between what I can help with and what needs the attention of a specialist.

I take my responsibility as a provider seriously. That means continuing to educate myself, understanding the skin I’m working with, recognizing potential concerns, and being honest when I’m not the right person to address them.

Sharing my personal journey as awareness. (Oh and did I mention most of lashes have fallen out also from the cream 😭)

Sun damage is cumulative. Years of exposure can lead to changes beneath the surface that aren’t always obvious until much later. Some of those changes are cosmetic, but others can become precancerous or cancerous.

And no facial, peel, or laser treatment can effectively treat my lesions.

So wear the damn sunscreen. Every day. Even when it’s cloudy. Even in the winter. Broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher, and not one that’s “in your makeup”

Pay attention to spots that are new, changing, rough, scaly, or simply aren’t healing.

Sometimes the best treatment recommendation I can give you is a referral to someone else. And I’m perfectly okay with that.

As we’re getting closer to opening Vibe State College, I’ve been playing around with giving our location its own little personality.

We’re keeping the Vibe look you already know, but I’m leaning toward something a little more earthy, warm, and boho for State College. Because if you know me, that’s my personal VIBE 😏

And now I’m torn….

💚 Smoky Olive — earthy, natural, and calming

💜 Deep Plum — rich, warm, and a little moody

I have a favorite, but I want to know what YOU think!

Team Olive or Team Plum? 👇

Tell me in the comments! I can’t wait to see what everyone picks!

Sorry long read,

I’ve been in the aesthetics industry for years, and while I absolutely love what I do, I’d be lying if I said I loved everything I’ve seen along the way. I’m about to get real honest.

Somewhere along the line, I feel like parts of this industry have gotten away from what it should really be about. Helping women feel good in their own skin. I’ve seen women made to feel like they need to fix things they never even considered flaws. I’ve seen the pressure to sell outweigh what’s actually in someone’s best interest. And honestly, this almost lead to
another career change.

I don’t believe aging is something we need to fight. I do love my Tox and all the things but I don’t believe every line, wrinkle, or change in our appearance needs correcting. I certainly don’t believe women should walk into a treatment room feeling insecure and leave with a longer list of things they think are wrong with them.

That’s a big part of why I’m so passionate about going in my own direction. I just never could figure out how. I have always wanted to create a space where women feel heard, comfortable, educated, and never pressured. Where we can have real conversations about aging, hormones, skin health, and all the changes that come with different stages of life.

I love aesthetics, I love the science, and the real results you can achieve. That part isn’t changing. But I want the experience to be about so much more than that.

We all need a place where we can go to just be REAL.

A little Saturday fun!

I’ve been playing around with some ideas for our new State College treatment room, and I want your opinions!

These are just AI mockups, but I’m trying to create a space that feels warm, welcoming, and somewhere you can truly relax and take a little time for yourself while targeting real results.

So tell me… which room feels more like somewhere you’d want to spend an hour?

After all, this space is being created for you.

Okay, but can we talk about how CUTE our new State College location is?! 😍

I’m seriously obsessed with this little spot. It has so much charm and personality, and I can already picture Vibe settling right in here.

We’re getting closer and closer, and I cannot wait to welcome you through these doors.

State College… we’re getting closer 👀

Heather and I stopped by yesterday to check out the progress on the new suite and things are starting to come together!

It’s pretty exciting to watch Vibe grow and to be part of a women-owned business expanding into a new area. 🤍

Still a little work to do behind these doors, but we’re getting there — and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on.

A little lift can make a BIG difference. ✨

Beautifully lifted, curled lashes that make the eyes look brighter and more open — no lash curler needed.

Vibe Skin & Body is expanding to State College and I’ll be your provider when you walk through the door.

And I really want to do things a little differently.

The older I get, the more I realize how much women go through and how little we actually talk about it. Especially in our mid 30’s and beyond. Our skin changes, our hair changes, our bodies change, hormones change and sometimes you look in the mirror and think “what the heck is going on?”

I want to create a place where you can come in, tell me what’s bothering you and know I’m going to be honest with you. If I think something will help, I’ll tell you. If I think you’re wasting your money, I’ll tell you that too.

No BS. No pressure to look 25. No selling you something just because I can.

I want this to be a safe space for women in all stages of life, but I especially want to focus on women going through perimenopause, menopause, after and all the weird changes nobody prepared us for. (Seriously why does my inner ear itch)

Yes, I’ll be treating skin. But I want to see the whole woman sitting in front of me, not just whatever she wants “fixed.”

I’m not completely sure yet what all of this is going to grow into. I just know how I want women to feel when they walk through my door.

Seen. Comfortable. And like they can trust me.

I have been lucky enough to remain connected to a woman who had always believed in me- Heather, the owner of Vibe Skin and Body in Lewistown. I started my aesthetics career with her and now we want to build something together and we are making this thing happen!

So… State College, here we go.
