If you enjoy true stories, police K9s, dogs in general or just hearing about something you probably don’t get to experience every day, I definitely recommend giving The Nose Knows... Melanie: Police Bloodhound a read! It gave me a whole new appreciation for what these incredible dogs can do!
Knowing Jim Pacetti and cutting his hair for years made hearing the stories from his own experiences feel real, and I found myself not wanting to put the book down!
I had the pleasure of meeting Melanie once and it was not how I expected it to go. She jumped out of the squad and showered me with slobbery kisses. ❤️ She was truly one amazing dog, and you can tell how much she meant to Jim and how proud he was to work alongside her. I truly LOVED this book!
Visit Melaniethebloodhound.com and select the Amazon link to order your copy!🐾❤️
I will be closing at 2:30 on Wednesday October 7th for a Dr. appointment.
Huge shout out to Tony Marsala for fixing my barber pole! ❤️💈
When he contacted the company that originally made the pole to get the new motor he learned some of its history. It was made in 1968! It’s not just a barber pole—it has a little history behind it, too. ❤️
Not only did Tony clean it up and get it looking nice again, but he also got the light working! 🙌💡 My barber pole is officially lit up again, and I couldn’t be happier!
Tony, I can’t thank you enough! You did an amazing job, and I truly appreciate all the time and effort you put into bringing my pole back to life! 💈❤️
It looks better than ever! 🙌✨
💈 THE POLE IS BACK! 💈
After a little time in the shop, my barber pole is back up and better than ever! 🙌✂️
And this time… IT LIGHTS UP! 💡💈
Come get trimmed up and check out the new and improved glow! 💈✨
💈 THE POLE HAS LEFT THE BUILDING! 😂💈
My barber pole is off getting repaired, but don’t worry… I am still OPEN! ✂️
The pole will hopefully be back spinning soon — 🤞
The parking is already blocked off for the parade today, Friday June 12th, but I am OPEN! Park in the Public Landing lot or in the Library lot.
