Mike here.. I finally have the ok to go back to work on October 1, this Saturday.

Good Morning…

It’s Mike again. Update on my recovery. After my initial follow up with the surgeon and first appointment with the Physical Therapist, normal rehab usually recommends not bearing weight on the leg for 2 months.

I’m doing PT everyday and tomorrow is my second appt with Physical Therapist. I’m hoping to be able to come back sooner if I can get a special chair to accommodate not standing on my leg.

I’ll update after my appointment.

Dear Customers..

This is Mike… many of you may have already heard… but I ended up going in for an emergency surgery. I went in for a specialist appointment that was delayed due to trying to get through insurance authorization.

On 7/27, the doctor advised that I had a detached quadriceps tendon, and scheduled me for surgery the next day. I apologize as I was unable to give any notice to customers that were already scheduled.

Currently I’m restricted from bearing weight on it. I go for follow up today. I’ll provide an update on the status as soon as I can. Hopefully healing is progressing quickly…

Dear Customers

Effective immediately, per the direction of Governor Newsom; on behalf of the state of California, we will be adhering to the new required guidelines listed on the website: https://covid19.ca.gov/pdf/guidance-hair-salons.pdf.

Changes are as followed:

First and foremost, if you are exhibiting any symptoms, have been sick, or have been exposed to someone who has been sick, you must reschedule your appointment at least 10 to 14 days in the future. We will be checking your temperature before you sit for your appointment.

At this time, there will be no walk-ins. You must schedule an appointment and verify that your barber has an appointment available before coming in. We will be staggering appointments to accommodate the time needed to clean and sanitize between each customer.

Customers are asked to wait in their vehicle until your respective barber is ready, please let us know when you arrive, and your barber will advise when he is ready for you. Please be on time for your appointment.

There will be no seating in the barber shop, except for the customer that is in each respective barber’s chair. Please do not congregate in front of the barbershop.

Unless you are accompanying a child, we ask that you come alone. If you are accompanying a child, you may wait in front of the shop.

Customers must bring and wear face coverings during the visit. Please wear a face mask with ear loops.

As always, we ask that you social distance.
