Why do PMU brows require 2 sessions? 🤎

The initial appointment lays the foundation, but the touch-up appointment is where we perfect the brows. Every client’s skin heals differently, and some areas may retain pigment better than others during the healing process.

Once healed, brows typically fade 20–30% and may shrink slightly as the skin recovers. This is why a touch up session 6–8 weeks after your initial appointment is so important.

At your touch-up, we:
✔️ Re-map the brows
✔️ Discuss any desired changes to shape, color, or thickness
✔️ Reinforce areas that may not have retained pigment as well

In this case, my client sleeps primarily on her left side, which caused her left brow to fade more quickly than the right. During her touch-up, we targeted those areas to create a more even result.

This appointment helps ensure your brows heal evenly, achieve optimal retention, and stay looking fresh for 1–3 years before a color boost is needed.

❣️Ombré Powder
-Technique that creates the appearance of soft, powdered makeup. Pigment is implanted into the skin to produce a series of fine pixels that blend for a smooth, powder shading effect.
Great for all skin types- dry, combo, oily- tailored to achieve a customized look from soft and natural to more defined.
❣️Nano Combo
- Technique that combines nano machine hairstroke (mimics microbladimg hairstroke but with less trauma to the skin) at the front of the brow for a soft appearance and transitions in to ombre powder shading for added fullness.
Ideal for more dry to combination skin (dry T Zone)

Every brow set is fully customized to the client’s facial anatomy.

During this session, adjustments were made during the mapping process to accommodate a strong muscle pull on the left side of the brow. Designing brows with natural muscle movement in mind helps ensure the most balanced and natural-looking result both at rest and during expression.
