Here’s something I’ve learned after years of Brazilian waxing: a lot of first-time clients aren’t nearly as worried about the pain as they are about being naked in front of their wax specialist.

“What if I have a lot of hair?”
“What if my body looks different?”
“What position are you going to put me in?”
“Is this going to be AWKWARD?!”

For the wax to properly grab the hair and remove it from the root, we need enough length to work with—around ¼ inch is a good goal.

If you’re questioning whether you should trim before your appointment, leave it alone. I promise, your Brazilian wax specialist does NOT care how much hair you have. Removing it is literally the job. 😂

I FINALLY found what I thought was the exact tail comb I’ve been holding onto since beauty school SIX YEARS AGO.

Ordered them. Got excited. Opened the package…

WHY IS THE TAIL SHORTER?! 😭😂

And before somebody says, “Brandi, it’s only like half an inch…”

YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND. 😂 When you foil, section and work behind the chair all day, that extra length makes a difference. My old comb just WORKS.

So yes… I emailed the company like a woman searching for a long-lost family member. 😂 Hopefully we can solve The Great Tail Comb Debacle of 2026 because I need my long tail back.
