9 years at Fringe 🤍✨

It’s hard to put into words what this place means to me. Fringe has been so much more than just where I work, it’s been my safe place, my creative outlet, my support system, and truly my second home.

Over the last 9 years, I’ve grown up here. I’ve built lifelong friendships, learned from some incredible people, laughed until I cried, cried for real, celebrated huge milestones, and had the privilege of connecting with so many amazing clients along the way.

To my salon team, thank you for believing in me, inspiring me, supporting me, and making this place feel so special every single day. And to my clients, thank you for trusting me not only with your hair, but with your stories, your lives, and your loyalty through all these years.

May = Lilac Month in Lombard 💜✨

We transformed Janet’s grown out brunette into this rich, dimensional lilac melt using pops of violet for the perfect lived-in fantasy color. Obsessed with how the different shades catch the light and add so much depth.

Fashion colors don’t always have to be bold and high maintenance — this placement keeps things soft, wearable, and fun while still making a statement ✨

From virgin brunette to this soft, dimensional blonde ✨🤍

Danielle wanted a brighter look while still keeping things natural and low maintenance. We did a full head of babylights to create seamless brightness and softness throughout, then finished with a custom gloss for this neutral blonde tone.

Because she started with virgin hair, we were able to get such a clean, healthy lift while maintaining shine and integrity ☀️ This was session one of her blonde journey! In about 8 weeks we’ll go even lighter and brighter!

If you invest your hard earned money into anything, would you take bad care of it?

A lot of guests (including myself 🙋🏼‍♀️) have bought hair product from the drugstore after investing in their hair. And then wonder why it looks dull and lifeless after a few weeks.

I never really understood the difference between professional product and drugstore product until I went to cosmetology school and made the switch! My hair had so much more life and shine to it and it clicked! You all know I love olaplex, and I have noticed such a huge change in my hair!

Drugstore shampoos contain higher levels of sulfates and silicons which strip your hair therefore making it look dull! Also the first ingredient in a lot of them are water which dilutes the key ingredients to get your hair and scalp clean!

Professional products have higher quality and more concentrated ingredients so they will last longer and you will use less! They are overall better for the health of your hair! If you have any questions or looking for a recommendation for your hair type please message me!
