Welcome to Kaitlyn Jeanne Salon.
I just wanted to say Hi and introduce myself for those of you who are new to following me. I'm Katie, the creative artist behind Kaitlyn Jeanne Salon. My small business turned 10 this year, and I have been behind the chair for 14 years. I work Independently out of my salon in my home. I strive to provide each client with a fun – trendy – close-knit environment where they can relax, recharge and feel their best – whether it’s in the chair or weeks after their experience at the salon. I absolutely love building long lasting relationships with my clients where they can always feel comfortable and confident in their own skin. I aspire to make every person that sits in my chair feel good about themselves, and create a safe space for them to feel supported. I specialize in all things color, blonde, balayage and bridal. Hair is my passion, and because of all of you, it's possible for me to create and do what I love everyday. I am here for you, as your stylist, friend, whatever you may you need. Have a question? Ask! We’ve spent months researching, learning, planning, practicing, building, and obsessing over all the details and now we’re finally starting to get people LINKED at Mane Haven. ✨

Before Carter, before Mane Haven became what it is today, before so much of the life we have now… there was her.
The little girl who made giving up no longer feel like an option. And even now, with two babies watching me, she’ll always be the one who first taught me how much more I was capable of.
My first reason to keep going. 🤍
The parts you see… and the parts you don’t.
I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built, but I’d be lying if I said it hasn’t come with sacrifices. A business demands so much of you.. your time, your energy, your attention. & there have been so many moments over the years I’ve missed because the answer was simply, “I can’t, I have to work.”
And honestly, that still happens daily.
I don’t think there’s some point where you finally figure out the perfect balance. I think you just get better at recognizing the moments when you can choose to be there.
The salon will always be a huge part of my life. So will this.
I’m still trying to make room for it all, while learning to really appreciate the moments I do get. 🤍

You can’t tell me manifestation isn’t real…
I found my high school personal statement tonight, and it honestly blew my mind. It is so wild to look back to see how dedicated I was even back then. I wrote about owning a salon one day, becoming one of the top stylists in the area, never stopping my education, and doing whatever it took to get there.
Reading it now reminds me that I didn’t just dream about this life, I believed in it long before I was living it. And every day after that, I kept showing up and putting in the work.
If there’s one thing this reminded me, it’s this: write the dream down. The things you’re dreaming about today might be closer than you think.
