Wednesday. Mid-session.

September has started with a reminder every trader eventually learns: the market doesn’t move on headlines alone it moves on expectations, liquidity, yields, and risk.

Tuesday brought plenty of volatility:
Dow: -419
S&P 500: -0.7%
Nasdaq: -1.0%

Oil pushed higher, while the 10-year yield touched 4.81%.

Today, the tape is attempting to stabilize, with the Dow showing relative strength and Dell gaining momentum on strong AI-server demand. Meanwhile, Nasdaq remains mixed.

But beyond the headlines, two variables deserve serious attention:

• Fed hike expectations remain elevated
• Crude prices are still putting pressure on the market

For traders, the lesson is simple: learn to identify what actually drives price instead of reacting to every headline.

Yields and WTI can influence the broader risk environment far more than the noise on your screen.

Stay disciplined.
Define your risk before entering.
Size your positions according to your risk not your confidence.

Not too long ago, I was 215 pounds, sitting at 38% body fat, struggling mentally, physically, and emotionally. I knew I needed to change but knowing wasn’t enough. I had to make a decision.

Sometimes, the things we dream about start with something so simple a conversation between two people who just want to create beautiful memories with their family. ❤️

I remember telling my husband that we needed a special place where we could all come together as a family, relax, have fun, celebrate important moments, and simply enjoy each other’s company. I wasn’t asking for anything extravagant. I just wanted a space that felt like ours somewhere filled with laughter, love, good food, beautiful memories, and moments we could look back on for years to come.

And then my husband surprised me by turning that simple conversation into something I could never have imagined. 🥹❤️

He created THIS beautiful party area and luxury space for our family, and honestly, seeing it come together is an emotional experience. It reminds me that dreams don’t always happen overnight. Sometimes, they begin with a small idea, a little faith, consistent effort, and the courage to keep moving forward even when you can’t yet see the final picture.

I’m incredibly grateful for how far we’ve come and for the opportunities that helped make this possible for us. I also want to give appreciation to Corvane Portfolios and my trading expert, Mac Thurston , for the guidance and support that have been part of my journey. 🙏🏽

Looking at this space today, I can’t help but think about all the sacrifices, decisions, lessons, and moments of uncertainty that came before it. It makes me realize that sometimes the results we pray for are built quietly, one step at a time.

This isn’t just a party area to me.

It represents progress.
It represents faith.
It represents family.
It represents the beautiful feeling of being able to turn an idea into something real.

Most importantly, it reminds me that you should never be ashamed of starting small. You never know where one small decision, one opportunity, or one step forward can eventually lead you.

To anyone reading this who is still working toward their own dreams: keep going. ❤️

Your journey may not look impressive today. You may still be figuring things out. You may have moments when you question whether everything will eventually work out. But don’t let the current chapter convince you that the story is over.
