I know we love hearing we don’t look our age. But that immediately implies there’s something wrong with the age you are. We put these ideas of what an age should look like. I am not at all perfect at doing this myself, but I want to lean into accepting who we are, where we are, and just trying to be that best version. What I really wish is that I could give my clients the view I have of them - the beauty in all of them.

This one. This is the hill I die on. 😂 Ok, if money is not a factor, AlphaRet is totally great. I still don’t love that you have no idea what percentage of retinol you have in it, and most providers would recommend you work up to prescription tretinoin as the gold standard. I prefer progressing through increasingly higher concentrations of over the counter retinol and then a low dose prescription, and that’s a major reason why I decided not to invest in Skinbetter as my retail line.

Skinbetter is amazing but let’s be real, it’s not cheap 💰 I’ve been using Image Skincare’s Barrier Repair Balm and Biotech cream as more affordable alternatives to their Trio Rebalancing Moisturizer — and my skin barrier has never been happier. The highest price tag doesn’t have to equal the best.
