Hair has become one of my greatest teachers.

It mirrors life so closely. You can’t force it. You can’t rush it. And when you try to control it too tightly, it usually pushes back.

I’ve learned that hair responds best to patience, honesty, and care.. the same things we need to grow in our own lives. Stress shows up in the strands. Transitions show up in shedding. Healing happens slowly, through consistency, not pressure.

This year taught me that presence matters. A calm body creates better results. Gentle hands go further than aggressive techniques. And real luxury is taking the time to do things with intention.

Hair moves in seasons. Sometimes it rests. Sometimes it releases. Sometimes it grows quietly before anyone notices — but it’s still growing! 🌿

My work has softened because I’ve softened.
And when hair feels safe, it flourishes.
