Silk press is a good way to give your natural hair a break in between installs. Look 👀 how healthy her hair is unpressed(left) and pressed (right)
With great blow drying techniques, I only need to use the flat iron at 375 degrees.
With proper maintenance, a silk press can last 3-4 weeks on virgin natural hair. If you have had silk presses before, you can wear this style much longer. You should avoid using any heat on your hair after having a silk press to prevent irreversible heat damage.
