Things no one told me about being a business owner…

2. You’ll pour your time, money, energy, and heart into people who will eventually choose to leave. Some will outgrow you. Some will disappoint you. Some will rewrite the story of what happened to make themselves feel better. It still hurts.
3. You’ll have to let go of the person who started the business so you can become the person capable of leading it. Growth demands change—and change isn’t comfortable.
4. You will be misunderstood. People will gossip. They’ll question your motives, celebrate your failures, and underestimate what you’re building. Most of them will never see the sacrifices you made behind closed doors.
5. There will be nights you wonder if you should quit. You’ll question every decision. You’ll wonder if you’re the problem. Then you’ll get up the next morning and do it all again because people are counting on you.
6. Success isn’t built in the highlights. It’s built in the mornings you didn’t feel like showing up… the payroll you made work somehow… the conversations you dreaded… the failures nobody clapped for… and the days you chose discipline over motivation.

No one sees the anxiety.
No one sees the risk.
No one sees what it costs.

They only see the finished product.

So here’s my advice…

Build it anyway.

Lead anyway.

Risk it anyway.

Become anyway.

Because one day you’ll look back and realize the hardest thing you ever built… wasn’t your business.

It was yourself.💯
