to all my people with LOCS…

please STOP putting oil & water in your hair thinking you doing something. YOU’RE NOT. basic science tells us that oil & water do not mix 🌚 STOP IT

a LOT of times, oil is the culprit to your dry, itchy, flaky scalp.

because… DID YOU KNOW? your hair naturally makes oil & yeast. your scalp naturally maintains a PH balance. by putting excessive oil, the yeast in your hair “eats” it up and causes an overproduction of yeast. which looks like, dandruff, psoriasis, “flakes” and scabs on the scalp. (dairy in your diet can cause this also)

OIL IS A SEALANT. so if your hair is dry & you’re putting oil in it, you’re just sealing in dryness. and you’re wondering why your hair is always DRY & FLAKY.

get you a good MOISTURIZER and use an oil to follow up. and do your research on oils… most of them need to be diluted with others oils in order to not cause scalp irritation.
