The top was my client’s first visit post facial, bottom was today post facial. I have been seeing her every 4 weeks for 4 months now.

Let’s breakdown this comparison….

1. Less redness which means her skin barrier is getting stronger and resilient.

2. Pore size looks more refined, good water and oil balance.

3. Less inflammation/breakouts. At home, my client was using too many actives causing her barrier to be more reactive as well as more breakouts due to stressed out skin. We took out ALL actives, then went basic. Creamy cleanser, a hydrating rich moisturizer due to TEWL, and SPF. 2 months in, we added peeling PHA/LHA Korean pads to be done 2x/ week. In the treatment room we have been going a little more aggressive each time.

4. Even complexion.

This is not a filter, this was a first time facial client who got a barrier supportive facial. This treatment was focused on delivering hydration, giving the skin a supple look and brightening effect while supporting her sensitive skin. Why is everyone talking about Korean lash lifts?

K-beauty is known for its skin-first, health-focused approach—and that same philosophy applies here. Y’all know I have been using professional Korean brands for my facials before the influencers were talking about it. Korean Lash Lifts focuses on preserving the health of the lashes, the method, and the customization to each eye.

With my traditional lash lift method I use a TGA (Thyoglycolic Acid) system allowing for shorter appointments as the lashes process faster. I still prioritize your lash health, you still get stunning CURL results, however customization is limited and over processing can happen.

The K-method can use a Cysteamine- based system or in my case CHC (Cysteamine Hydrochloride). Which brings me back to processing— very unlikely to over-process/over curl, longer appointment times, healthier lashes, LONGER lashes, and stunning WISPY NATURAL results.

K-method is ideal for straight & downward lashes to open up the eye, strong thick lashes, short to medium lashes to maximize length, and those transitioning from lash extensions since the lash health can sometimes be compromised. Ideal for men who want a pick me up.
