If your body needs a little more support, Chair Yoga might be exactly what you’ve been looking for.

This class is intentionally slow, accessible, and nervous-system friendly. Every movement can be adapted to where your body is that day, and you never have to push through something that doesn’t feel right.

You don't have to earn rest. You don't have to finish everything first. You don't have to take care of everyone else before you're allowed to take care of yourself. You don't have to wait until you're completely burned out. And you definitely don't have to wait until your body is screaming at you.

Sometimes self-care looks like a massage appointment. A quiet room. A little time away from the noise. Someone asking what your body needs - and actually listening.

If it's been a while since you've done something that was just for you, maybe it's time.

I pay attention to the little things.

A hand.
A wrist.
A thumb.

Tiny places we use hundreds of times a day without thinking about them.

Our bodies tell stories through repetition.

Through gripping.
Typing.
Driving.
Holding babies.
Gardening.
Creating.

Sometimes the places asking for attention aren't the ones that hurt the loudest, but the ones that work hard for us without asking for anything in return.

One of my favorite things about my yoga classes? They're intentionally small.

I could fit more people into a class. But that's not the experience I want to create.

Keeping classes small means I can actually get to know you. I can offer modifications that make sense for your body. I can answer questions. I can notice when something doesn't feel quite right and help you find another option.

You're never just another mat in the room. You're a person with a unique body, unique experiences, and unique goals.

Join us today for gentle yoga in the Glover-Crimm Building downtown.

You do not have to be flexible to come to yoga.

You don't need to touch your toes. You don't need to look like the person on the mat next to you. And you definitely don't need to "be good at yoga."

Yoga can be a space to get curious about your body - to notice what feels good, what feels challenging, and what you might need today.

That's why my classes are intentionally small. I want there to be room for options, encouragement, questions, and movement that works for your body.

No pressure to keep up.
No pressure to perform.
No pressure to make your body look like anyone else's.

Just come as you are. Take a breath. Move in the ways that feel available to you.
Your body is not a problem you have to fix before you walk into a yoga class.

It's welcome here exactly as it is. 🤍

Do you know how easy it is to get out of sync with our bodies and not even realize that it's asking for a rest? Or a little bit of care?

Take a moment today to scan your body for any of these signs.

Remember that every "problem" is our bodies way of communicating an unmet need.

Make sure you're listening.
