Have you ever smelled someone once and remembered them for years? It’s interesting how scent memories linger longer than our own thoughts sometimes. I still remember your scent trail the first time we embraced and long to experience it again. 😌
Being a perfumer means smelling with my mouth and tasting with my nose. 😌
I find that I produce my best work not by countless hours of research…not by hundreds of trials…but by spending time in nature. Something about it gives me a clarity that doesn’t come by any other means.
I grew up in a rural part of town in Longview, Texas and spent every day outdoors until my mom made me come inside for supper.
Now, I carve those moments out intentionally as a mother to experience the same level of freedom to create.
That’s it; that’s my perfumer’s secret, and now you know it. 📝😊

My best work is produced when I’m allowed uninterrupted time in nature to fully meditate on the nuances that can be missed when evaluating at my office. The birds help to give their input as well with their beautiful songs. 🎶
No race; no competition; just organic growth and intentionality.
