Helping bring Days 1 & 2 of Destination Education: St. Pete Beach to life, Deejay Swaney joins us as a Supporting Redken Artist. With a passion for sharing knowledge and elevating fellow beauty professionals, Deejay will be providing hands-on support, guidance, and encouragement throughout the learning experience.

More about DeeJay: DeeJay Swaney is a Level 6 stylist at Chemistry Hair Salon in Bossier City, Louisiana, with 15 years behind the chair and a passion for making hair color make sense. His work has been featured in the 2026 Redken Shades EQ Look Book, and he is proud to serve as a Shades EQ Specialist Educator alongside Megan Watson.

Known for breaking down formulation into simple, practical strategies, DeeJay helps stylists build confidence behind the chair and formulate with intention for every guest, every time. His approach focuses on creating high impact, lived-in color while working smarter, not harder, through efficient techniques and predictable results.

In this class, he will also be sharing how to identify current and upcoming trends. What trends to expect, and also what’s HOT right now!

Working alongside our lead facilitators, Leslie will help bring techniques to life, offer support, and ensure attendees get the most out of every learning experience.

More about Leslie: Leslie Hilger is an educator of ten years helping facilitate ways to work smarter not harder for the everyday stylist. She takes a real world approach to her clientele and supports the concept that all it takes is an open and honest conversation to turn a first time guest into a life time client. When not working behind the chair or educating salons on all things Redken, Leslie enjoys spending time with her three children and reclaiming her health by going to the gym.

Blending salon artistry with social media strategy, AI-driven tools, and modern approaches to building your brand behind the chair. A forward-thinking day designed for stylists ready to evolve how they create, connect, and grow.

More about Alison: Alison Rodriguez-Jones is a salon owner, educator, and business leader with more than 20 years of experience in the beauty industry. Raised in a salon by her hairstylist mother, Alison developed a passion for the industry at an early age. After cosmetology school and gaining experience behind the chair, she co-founded Salon Bella Vi alongside her mother and sister, helping grow the business into a successful multi-location salon.

For more than 12 years, Alison has led and mentored salon teams, developing future beauty professionals while building a culture centered on growth, leadership, and exceptional client experiences. Through Mastermynd Beauty, she is passionate about sharing the lessons, systems, and strategies that have helped her build a thriving salon business and empower others to do the same.

Meet the Artist: Joe Chesbro 🤘

Kicking off Destination Education: St. Pete Beach, Joe Chesbro will be co-leading Days 1 & 2 alongside Anne Chesbro. As a Redken Artist, Joe is known for sharing practical techniques, industry insights, and the kind of education you can immediately put to work behind the chair. Get ready to learn, create, and be inspired from day one.

More about Joe: Joe Chesbro, salon owner, educator, NAHA finalist, and passionate hair artist dedicated to elevating the craft of haircutting. As the owner of Platinum Salon ROC and Platinum Suites, Joe has built successful businesses centered around creativity, excellence, and ongoing education.

Joe also serves as a Design Educator for Redken 5th Avenue, where he utilizes Principle Based Design to deliver the latest cutting techniques, trends, and industry insights with stylists across the country. Known for his engaging teaching style and practical approach, he is passionate about helping stylists gain confidence behind the chair and master techniques they can immediately apply in the salon. 

You can find his tutorial videos on YouTube where he is featured as an ambassador to Sam Villa Pro Tools. This has given Joe the opportunity to be published in several magazines as a trend spotter leading the way in the beauty industry. 

Whether he's creating beautiful hair, mentoring professionals, or educating on stage, Joe's mission is simple: inspire growth, ignite creativity, and help stylists unlock their full potential.

Meet Anne Chesbro, your facilitator for Days 1 & 2 of Destination Education: St. Pete Beach! As a Redken Artist, Anne brings years of industry expertise, education, and inspiration to the classroom. Get ready for two days packed with fresh techniques, professional insights, and practical takeaways you can bring back to the salon right away.

More about Anne: Anne M. Chesbro is the CEO of Platinum Salon Suites LLC, COO and Co-Owner of Platinum Salon ROC, Inc., and a Redken Artist and Educator with more than 30 years of experience behind the chair. Specializing in hair color, formulation, corrective color, and color theory, she is passionate about helping stylists understand the science behind beautiful, predictable results.
As a national educator, Anne has taught at premier industry events, advanced academies, and hands-on programs, translating complex haircolor concepts into practical techniques that build confidence behind the chair.
She is also the creator of the Fact vs. Myth series on social media, where she combines peer-reviewed cosmetic science, manufacturer data, and salon experience to challenge industry misconceptions and promote evidence-based education.
A NAHA nominee, salon owner, mentor, and business leader, Anne is dedicated to elevating the professional beauty industry through education, leadership, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
