🤍 Was it easy? Absolutely freaking not. Was it worth it? Abso-freaking-lutely.

This is a milestone worth celebrating, and I’m really proud of myself.

One year ago today, I graduated esthetician school. Since then, I’ve become licensed, opened Key Elements Skin Studio LLC, served over 100 incredible clients, moved my business to Longview from Kilgore to be closer to the hospital my dad was at, and just came home from a week at the beach to a fully booked July.

Looking back, I can finally say… I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. I get to serve people with the kind of care, intention, and experience I’d want for myself. (I’m not easily impressed. 😂)

From the very beginning, I had people tell me I was moving too fast, taking too many risks, or being unrealistic. Looking back, I think it was more projection of fear and disbelief than support, honestly.

Maybe I am delusional enough to think it’ll work out in the end.

But I’ve learned that sometimes you have to believe in your vision long before the results give everyone else a reason to believe in it too.

Call it faith. Call it resilience. Call it a little delusion. 😂 Whatever it is, I refused to quit.

Am I where I ultimately want to be? Not even close. My vision is still so much bigger than where I am today.

So I’m going to celebrate this milestone… and then get right back to work.

If it’s not working out yet, maybe it’s just not the end.

Here’s to Year One. The momentum has only just begun. 🤩
