A single diagnosis can change someone’s life, body, mindset, priorities, and future in an instant.

It remains one of the leading causes of death in America, yet many people don’t fully understand how deeply it impacts someone physically, emotionally, mentally, financially, and socially until it personally touches their life.

So many people wait until after a diagnosis to begin paying attention to their health, stress, inflammation, nervous system, lifestyle, environment, or daily habits — but there are often small, supportive changes that can begin long before a crisis ever happens.

As an oncology-trained and certified esthetician who specializes in sensitive and medically reactive skin, I just wanted to take a moment today to honor and recognize every cancer journey. Not just one type. Not just one ribbon color. Every story matters.
