The barber shop will be closed this coming Saturday for Labor Day.

We will be closed Thursday, Friday and Saturday to celebrate Thanksgiving with our families. We are truly thankful to all of our loyal customers. We hope everyone has a wonderful thanksgiving.

To all the extended family and friends of The Barber Shop in Longview:
As of June 3rd, 2023 after 30 years of cutting hair, 25 years of which were spent at The Barber Shop as a barber and the last 8 years as the owner, Amy has decided it’s time to hang up her cape and unplug her clippers.
This was not an easy decision. Amy was once told not to wait until your golden years to do the things you want to do. With that in mind she has turned the shop and her beloved customers over to her nephew, Carlos. Carlos has been at the shop for several years and recently Holly has joined the team. They are excited to continue the high level of service and family-like atmosphere that our customers have grown to love.
The past few weeks have been very emotional, but Amy is ready to go enjoy life and family. Amy was the BEST at what she did at The Barber Shop and we know she will be greatly missed by all who have sat in her chair and all who have been so devoted to the shop through generations of getting the best haircuts in East Texas.
Amy wants all of her customers to know how much she appreciates you. You are truly like family and it has been a privilege to get to know each and every one of you.
The Barber Shop wishes Amy the very best on the new chapter in this thing we call life. Thank you Amy for all the memories and great haircuts!
