Healing stages
Whether it’s your first time getting a microblading procedure or not, you will notice that the month-long microblading healing process has certain stages where your brows will change in appearance. Here’s what you can expect while letting your brows heal.

Days 1 to 3
In the first few days, you will notice that your eyebrows will look full, and the color may look very dark. This will eventually fade, though, during the following weeks. And on day 1, you might experience some tenderness and swelling of your face as well as some mild bleeding. But by the 2nd and 3rd day, the pain will subside.

Days 3 to 5
As the tenderness and pain go down, your brows will remain to look bold and dark. But by day 5, the scabbing begins. You will feel itchy as your brows start to flake. Your skin begins to heal at this stage.

Days 5 to 8
During these days, the itchiness continues, and your brows are still peeling and scabbing. At this point, you will have to be careful not to pick the scabs! Doing so will reopen the wounds and could remove some of the pigment. The color will also lighten during this time.

Days 8 to 12
By this time, the first week of the microblading healing process has passed. The flaking gradually stops at this point, and the color returns.

Days 12 to 21
The color of your brows becomes more natural, and the brow hair looks more defined.

Days 21 to 30
This is the time when the microblading healing process has finished, and your skin has completely healed. You will finally see what your brows are supposed to look like. And there’s no more pain and discomfort. I’m about 8 weeks, you are likely to have another appointment with your microblading artist for a follow-up. We can check on how your skin has healed or if anything needs fixing during this appointment.
