Okay peanuts, let’s talk about where glowwithmaggie all began

Before I ever became an esthetician, I was just a twenty-something girl lost in the chaos of influencer skincare culture. Eczema one month, acne the next, and premature aging from a connective tissue disorder. I was exhausted, sensitive to everyone’s emotions, a chronic people pleaser, stuck in toxic cycles, and constantly trying to hold the world together while forgetting myself. My body was in survival mode, and my skin reflected it…dull, reactive, lifeless.

In esthetics school, a teacher confirmed something I had always felt and that changed everything:
“Your hands can heal more than skin…they can calm the nervous system.”

I started diving into the science behind intentional touch, fascia, the microbiome, and the way sound and crystal frequencies can actually regulate the body. When the nervous system feels safe, skin responds. Radiance doesn’t have to be forced it’s innate in all of us.

Through it all, I learned to hear God’s voice again. Gentle, steady, reminding me I was never meant to carry everything alone.

That faith is now the quiet heartbeat behind everything I do.
And honestly, it’s a domino effect.
Sometimes it’s one facial that shifts everything, that resets your trajectory back toward showing up for yourself, back toward who you desire to be and feel.

Now, I devote my work to those who hold everyone else together, who are burnt out, betrayed, or just bone-tired. The women who have forgotten what it feels like to come home to themselves.

My hands are here to remind her.
Her glow isn’t something she needs to chase it’s something she already carries.
We all just need someone to hold space long enough to remember. And to have a silly safe yap session with.
