As the granddaughter of two grandparents on different sides of my family that experienced dementia and Alzheimer’s disease and eventually passed away, the research on the subject is close to my heart. I wonder how many lives and stories could have been changed for the better knowing what we are learning about now. 💕

I am a big believer that GLP-1’s have their place in our health and wellness journeys even at low doses, given their known cardio-protective effects and other positive benefits that are emerging through research.

This study published in the JAMA Neurology publication shows a clear statistical correlation between GLP-1’s vs SGLT2’s for cardiovascular and neurological protection. This type of study is something called a meta-analysis. It is like a big review that looks at the results of many different studies on the same topic, usually related to health or medical treatments. Instead of just relying on one study, researchers combine the information from several studies to get a clearer picture of how well a treatment works. This helps them understand the overall effectiveness and can lead to more reliable conclusions about what works best for patients.

There is new research on intradermal application of neuromodulators to improve the MASI (Melasma Area and Severity Index) score which is a numerical value that measures the extent of facial hyperpigmentation.
