I spent a lot of years thinking progress came from being super strict for a few weeks.
Starting over every Monday.
Trying to “get back on track.”
Being all in… then completely falling off.
But honestly, the biggest changes in my body came from smaller habits I repeated over & over, even during busy or stressful seasons.
Things like:
• eating more protein
• keeping easy snacks around
• drinking more water
• planning ahead a little bit
• not letting one off meal ruin my whole week
As a mom, business owner, & coach, my days are not perfectly structured. Some days are chaotic & some days I’m just trying to survive the schedule 😅
But I’ve learned that consistency matters way more than being perfect.
Your body is built way more by the things you do regularly than the random week you were super motivated.
Small habits might not feel life changing in the moment… but over a year? They add up a lot more than people think.
Save this for the days you feel like you’re “failing” because one meal or one bad day threw you off 🤍
——this is the most organized my life has ever looked and it’s just snacks🥲

This is what surviving the week actually looks like in our house.
Messy floors. Cluttered counters. A hundred water bottles because the kids can never just pick one. A closet I keep meaning to fix. Walls full of fingerprints from tiny hands that live here loud.
Some days it feels like no matter how much I do, there’s always more waiting. And some days I open my phone and feel behind before my day even starts.
But this is real life. And real life is allowed to be messy.
I’m still showing up. Still building. Still enough — even on the hard days.
If this is your life too, drop a 🙋🏻♀️ below.
You’re not alone.
A lot of people see the result & assume it happened fast. Like I cut my calories hard, suffered for a few weeks, & somehow changed my body overnight.
That’s not my story.
I’m a mom of three & a gym owner. My days are full, my schedule is real, & my life doesn’t pause so I can chase perfection. I’ve built this physique while raising kids, running businesses, showing up for my family/ husband, & still making space for myself.
For years, I’ve trained consistently & adjusted my nutrition based on my current goals. Some seasons called for building. Some seasons called for maintenance. Some seasons called for leaning out. But it was never random, & it was never through extremes.
What changed everything was learning that results come from alignment. Training with intention. Eating in a way that supports the season I’m in. Prioritizing workouts & nutrition while still enjoying dinners, memories, weekends, & time with my family.
That balance matters. Because if your plan only works when life is perfect, it doesn’t really work.
And when it was time to tighten things up, my body responded well because I had already spent years building strength, muscle, habits, & consistency.
So no, this didn’t come from starving myself. It came from years of showing up, adjusting with purpose, & staying consistent through every season of life.
Sometimes the answer isn’t less food. Sometimes it’s a smarter approach, more patience, & a lifestyle you can actually live🔥
Here are the 7 things I stopped doing as a busy mom + gym owner… & honestly, life got stronger when I did. 🤍
1️⃣ I stopped waiting for motivation to magically show up.
Some mornings I’m tired. Some mornings I’m not in the mood. I still move anyway. Motivation is a feeling. Standards are what carry you.
2️⃣ I stopped trying to be everything to everyone every single day.
Some days the gym needs more of me. Some days my kids do. That doesn’t mean I’m failing one side. It means life moves in seasons.
3️⃣ I stopped skipping meals & pretending coffee could replace food.
If I don’t fuel myself, my patience gets shorter, my focus gets blurry, & everyone around me feels it too.
4️⃣ I stopped treating my workouts like they were extra.
Training isn’t the first thing I cut anymore. It keeps my mind clear, my stress lower, & reminds me I matter too.
5️⃣ I stopped saying yes out of guilt.
Not every request deserves access to me. Boundaries have protected my energy more than hustle ever did.
6️⃣ I stopped chasing “perfect balance.”
Balance sounds pretty, but real life is messy. What I actually needed was priorities, systems, & grace for the hard days.
7️⃣ I stopped shrinking myself to keep everyone else comfortable.
I’m a mom. A business owner. A woman with goals. I don’t need to become smaller just because life got bigger.
Still learning. Still adjusting. Still showing up for my kids, my clients, & myself.
Not perfect.
But it works for me. & that’s enough. 🤍
