Dave's Sports Barbershop will once again be providing services during normal business hours starting Wednesday, December 2, 2020.

For the health and safety of our staff and our clients, we will continue to implement the following:

• We will have a spreadsheet with disinfected ink pens for you to write your name, phone number, and choice of barber. We will call you in when it is your turn. No phone? No problem! There is a bench/chairs outside for you to wait and we will call you by name.

• Patrons will have 5 minutes to arrive inside from the time of call-due to wait times, we cannot hold your place if you are unable to arrive in the time allotted.

• Everyone MUST wear a mask.

• We are required by New Mexico State Barber/Cosmetology Board to take your temperature (no touch thermometer) before entering the establishment.

• If your temperature is above 100.4 degrees, we cannot provided services of any kind.

• If there is any indication or if you have been experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please do not come in for services.

We are proud to announce that we have had zero contact traces to the shop and we will do our upmost best to continuing keeping all clients and employees safe while providing excellent service. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Due to a substantial increase in the additional personal protective equipment (PPE) and disinfecting supplies, I have been forced to raise our prices.
***Haircuts are now $25.00.
***Beard trims and shampoos $12.00.

Currently, Dave’s Sports Barbershop is closed for business. We will continue to monitor the situation closely. Should any changes occur, we will quickly announce any adjustments to our operations.

Due to the new public health emergency order, which came into effect at 3 p.m,. Monday, March 23, the State of New Mexico prohibits non-essential businesses from operating.

Our Response To COVID-19
At Dave’s Sport Barbershop, the Safety of our Clients and Employees is our uncompromising priority. We are taking this public health alert seriously and will continue to monitor the evolving situation and follow recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), state and local authorities and will respond to this public health situation appropriately.
Currently, our shop is open for business, and we continue to maintain regular business hours to serve you. As the threat of COVID-19 has impacted all of us in some way, we would like to make you aware of the precautions we are taking to protect our clients, employees, and community. Of course, should any changes occur, we will quickly announce any adjustments to our operations.
***The new public health emergency order, which will take effect 8 a.m., Thursday, March 19, prohibits gatherings of more than 10 people. Including full capacity of babers (3) would allow 7 patrons at any given time. If there is an issue of overcapacity, we will take the cell phone number of patrons so that they may wait in their vehicle for their turn. They will then be called or physically summoned (if no cell phone) into the shop when it is their turn. At Dave’s Sports Barbershop we are committed to thorough standard precautions for infection prevention practices that apply to all individuals. These practices are designed to both protect and prevent the spreading infections among individuals. This includes:
Hand hygiene.
Respiratory hygiene / cough etiquette.
Stay home when you are symptomatic or feel unwell.
Sharps safety (engineering and work practice controls).
Disinfection of all instruments and devices.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
Say hello with a smile or an elbow bump and refrain from hugs and handshakes.
Maximum capacity of 10 individuals at any given time.
