Affirmation Darling

🫂 Thanks to ’s love on our mug, on her story this weekend, it’s my honor and delight to welcome over 150 new 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 to this lil community!

🗣𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝘆𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳!

🙋🏾‍♀️My name is Riji, and that handsome man 🐶 is , and the bloke behind him is my husband. 🤪

✈️ We moved from Dallas to LA for acting in 2016 but with the high cost of living in SoCal, our living situation quickly fell apart, forcing us to live in our car for 2yrs until 2019. 🚗

During those two years, we had to navigate through depression and anxiety on our own as we couldn’t afford a therapist of a life coach.

🙇🏾‍♀️ Hence, we would declare customized-to-our-situation affirmations and follow through with actions that would help boost our productivity while uplifting us mentally and emotionally, and keeping us away from depression and suicidal thoughts.

🧏🏾‍♀️This positive mindset is also how we were able to transition out of homelessness, and ever since then, I had always wanted to use my story to make a difference for the underserved and disadvantaged young adults facing homelessness and mental health issues.

🧚🏾‍♀️In 2020, after we were laid off due to COVID-19, I founded Affirmation Darling, a social impact stationery & wellness brand.

🥲Today, we are in over 40 Mom & Pop shops, physical and online, and globally in 8 int’l countries + 42 US states.

❌We never dreamt that we would scale this far when we launched in 2020 through 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗱𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴.

‼️But here we are! 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀. 🥲
